Formerly,  I made a minimalist portrait as a gift for a friend.  Printed , framed and voilà!  Quite simple!

I admit. I slacked off.  The lack of updates on this blog is depressing.  So, here goes my first new artwork of 2012.  The piece consist of pencil drawing,  ink, and photo collage.  This time around,  I was inspired by combining diverse art techniques.  I'm venturing in mixed media and trying different things. 

It feels like I haven't found my style yet.  With hope,  I'll find my own distinctiveness.

man... why are koreans so stylish! I envy them..wearing funky clothes/hairstyles. Watch to many KPOP recently...not good...not good.

Research

 A couple of research : Mainly, I was interested in learning about the mechanism of the piano and somehow relate it to how the brain processes emotions. At one point, I even wanted to make a surreal film...there is an abstract part though...dun dun dun!
